A breeze of solidarity on the lake
Sailing has many benefits. It offers a place to disconnect from the
everyday life, and helps building self-confidence through understanding the wind and nature’s elements.
Being aware of the many possibilities it offers, Anyone Can Sail, a
non-profit association, was created by Geneva Sailing School in 2021 at the Port des Pâquis. It provides introductory courses to social,
educational and cultural structures, adapting the cost of its services
to make sailing accessible to as many people as possible.
In a training perspective, beyond an introduction to sailing, the
association also goes further by following students who want to obtain their sailing license, a first step towards professional nautical
opportunities.

Become a member
Anyone Can Sail, our non-profit association, is dedicated to promoting sailing and making it accessible to a wide public, regardless of age, social background or physical ability.
Our project gives access to sailing courses at reduced rates for Geneva’s social, cultural and educational structures.
Since our creation, we have been working towards making sailing available to people who are often excluded from this type of activity due to financial constraints or cultural barriers.
This goal and activity can only exist thanks to the support of people who believe in and share our values, and contribute to making them exist.
How to support our project:

Beneficiaries
Sailing and navigation are often seen as being reserved to the lucky few who already know how to sail, and with a cost that excludes people with lower incomes. Anyone Can Sail wants everyone to be able to experience the wonders of navigation, facilitating an entry into the world of sailing to people who traditionally feel excluded from this space.
